About the Art & Artists

All our work at the Glass Academy is handmade by Chris Nordin and Jacob Nordin along the craftsmen they train to assist. We absolutely would love to hear your idea and to have the opportunity to make something unique for you or a loved one!  Custom pieces are a collaboration between you AND the artist - please expect to leave room for artistic expression as we all have our different styles, talents and quirks!

All of our work is handmade here in our Dearborn, MI studio- we always do our very best to bring to light your ideas in the artwork we create. Colors, shape and style all vary depending on many factors that affect the state of the glass and the working environment. We know how to bring your dreams to life and will sketch out a design for your approval prior to crafting the glass.  All sales are final due to the unique nature of this process.

All ideas are encouraged, but the glass artists at the Glass Academy reserve the right to decide to pass on a project that does not fit the aesthetic or business model of the company.

We appreciate your understanding, and look forward to working with you on your project!
