CLASS EXPERIENCE: Happy Hour ~ The Famous Beverage Experience!!

You design it, we make it!

Glassblowing is complicated, so let us do the hard work for you. While you relax and enjoy yourself, our team of talented glassblowers will bring your design to life!

Happy Hour typically lasts around 3 hours, but may run longer, depending on the number of students in attendance. We kindly ask that you arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, meet the other students, and browse the gallery for inspiration. Although the individual experience for each student involves around 30-40 minutes of design input and creation, we warmly invite you to stay and witness the mesmerizing artistry of your fellow participants. However, we understand that time is precious, so feel free to leave after your design has been conveyed to the glassblower. If you have a strict timeline, kindly inform your class host, as we are committed to ensuring your experience aligns seamlessly with your schedule.

You will make one piece of drinkware per ticket purchased. If you would like to make more than one, you are welcome to purchase an additional ticket. Or come back again; our classes are repeatable!

We offer a $12 guest ticket which must be purchased if you'd like to bring a guest to watch your class, or if you don't want to make a product, but would like to watch the class from the "audience". Everyone in attendance MUST purchase either a class ticket or a guest ticket. This allows us to prepare the space accordingly. When purchasing a guest ticket, please put the desired class date and time in the notes.

YOUR CLASS TICKET PURCHASE INCLUDES...

The design and creation of one of the following items:

• One beer mug
• One wine goblet 
• One snifter
• One wine tumbler

You may make one item per class ticket.

At our Happy Hour Class, we've crafted an experience tailored to unleash your creativity and explore the boundless possibilities of artistic expression. In the spirit of individuality, we invite you to design a truly unique masterpiece alongside our skilled artist. To enhance your experience further, we offer the option of creating a second item for an additional charge, provided it follows the same design as your first creation. To ensure that everyone has ample time for their unique projects, the crafting of the second item will take place at the end of the class or the next day, based on craftsmen discretion.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in making this a seamless and enjoyable journey for all participants.

You will design the basics: size (ounces), shape, colors, patterns/designs in the glass, and handle/foot/stem, if desired. Please note: some features, including but not limited to designs that require advanced glassblowing techniques, are only available as upgrades.

Once the style and design are drawn out with chalk on the hot shop floor, the glassblowing begins! Get your camera ready; you'll be in the hot seat, directing as you watch our master craftsmen bring your one-of-a-kind drinking vessel to life before your eyes. A truly magical experience!

YOUR CLASS TICKET PURCHASE ALSO INCLUDES...

• A behind-the-scenes tour of our glass studio and Batch Gallery, to educate you on the many styles and shapes of glassware that can be made during your class. During the tour, you will draw inspiration for your design from styles and samples showcased in the gallery. Our talented staff can assist you with suggestions and upgrades to make your glass drinkware truly unique and original to you!
• A coupon for 20% off all items in our gallery. This coupon can only be used on the day of your class or the day when you pick up your class product (if you choose to pick up your finished product in-person).

RULES & WHAT TO EXPECT

• B.Y.O.B. is an option! We have a selection of soft drinks available for purchase in the studio, but you are welcome to bring your own beverages and snacks.
• Closed-toed shoes are required and we suggest that you wear cotton, as it will be hot in the shop.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, meet the other students, and browse the gallery.
• Before you can take your beautiful glass creation home, it must cool from 1200°F to room temperature. Once completely cooled, your glass keepsake is ready for pickup from our studio OR we offer free shipping directly to your home if you live in the United States.
