"I’ve been a fan of The Glass Academy for well over a decade. When they began streaming their glass blowing on Facebook during the pandemic I became even more interested in the art and skill of glass blowing.

I jumped at the chance to become a member of their Loyalty League for a monthly fee. As a member you receive a quarterly item such as a glass Candy Cane, a Swizzle Stick, or even a Pumpkin. Besides the surprise items you also receive discounts and the ability for first dibs on the Warmer-Upper pieces from The Gathering Point.

I highly recommend joining as a Loyalty League member because the perks are so rewarding.

I love attending all of the special events that are put on by the Glass Academy throughout the year. The events provide the opportunity to share my love for glass with fellow enthusiasts."

"I learned about the membership program from watching the lives. I became a member because I love your art and want to support your art anyway I can.

Two of my favorite memories are of having my custom pieces made live. My favorite memory involving a staff member would be when I finally got to meet everyone in person last year and everyone made me feel at home.

My membership is valuable to me because I get to help grow your art by helping out anyway I can… I benefit from the community because it’s like a big family who support each other not only through the glass. I would recommend it to anyone who loves glass or the arts because it’s a good way for everyone to support each other."

"I first became a Star Supporter and upgraded to Loyalty League membership to further support the Glass Academy. As a retiree, I, along with my daughter Tammy, have enjoyed both the Tuesday night virtual shows and visiting the shop in person.

We enjoy the community support of the Glass Academy, especially due to our individual limitations. We’ve faced challenges finding activities we can do together, and it’s refreshing to find humanity and kindness within the Glass Academy community. Staff have always been welcoming and their interactions feel genuine. In addition to their sense of humor, the glass blowers definitely show creativity and a passion for molding glass. Additional support staff are wonderful with assisting customers and other staff as needed. I now know their names and I’ve interacted enough on the virtual shows, purchased, and visited in person, that staff now knows me and Tammy. (It can even feel a bit like Cheers, especially with the Michigan Room). Even with those that aren’t local, it’s awesome the way staff acknowledges and engages with those watching the virtual shows and live feeds.

I learned about the membership by watching the Tuesday night show and by looking at the Glass Academy website. Being a member provides for behind the scenes at the Glass Academy. I love the Annealer Reveals and seeing what new products are being developed. Membership allows for the chance to purchase the Weekly Warmer-Upper. Also, cool gifts and other perks are given throughout the year. Michelle, Lizzie, and staff are so thoughtful and creative in giving back to the customer to feel special.

This is such a wonderful family small business. The way the customer is welcomed in to feel like family is fully worth it to support the Glass Academy as a Loyalty League Member."

"I found out about the membership program at a Happy Hour class. I didn’t join at this point but it was in the back of my head. Then I watch the Gathering Point every Tuesday and always the first piece made is for Loyalty League only.

That’s just one of the perks. You have access to the Annealer Reveal every Thursday to see the final pieces made on TGP. You receive quarterly gifts made by GA. They are always amazing! You get behind the scenes content on the Facebook page for members only. Sometimes throughout the year you receive a discount that you can use for any product. With some of the bigger Gathering Point shows you get the first pick of the items for sale that night.

I became a member in November of 2024 and have never regretted it. To be able to support a family owned small business that creates such beautiful and stunning pieces makes me feel good. If you’re on the fence about becoming a member I highly recommend it."

Katie B.

"I have remained a member because I like all the interaction. Ok, and the gifts are awesome too. Getting way more stuff than what you pay for a month."
