CLASS EXPERIENCE: An Exclusive Class For YOUR Group

Host your next event, celebration, or get-together at the Glass Academy!

We are pleased to offer an exclusive hands-on glassblowing experience for you and YOUR group. This experience is perfect for birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, team/family bonding, or an afternoon out with friends. Currently, we are booking for select Friday evenings and Saturday/Sunday afternoons.

One of our studios will be exclusively reserved for YOUR group. This experience includes a guided tour, captivating glass blowing demonstrations, and an opportunity for each group member to create their very own glass masterpiece. All of the project options are designed by the founders of the Glass Academy, and are original to our studio!

PRICING

The price listed below is the base fee and will cover 6 people. Each additional person will cost $132 each (*Due to high demand, during the month of December, each additional person will be $150 each.) If you expect more than 6 people in your group, let us know how many people you expect (under the box that says "add a note to your order"), and you can pay for the remaining guests the day of the class.

Expect to spend 1.5 hours in class with a group of 6 people. Additional people will lengthen the time of the class. Maximum students in a two-hour class is 20. Click here for information about booking an event for more than 20 people.

As a group, you will decide which project you want to create. You may decide from the following options beforehand or when you arrive for class:

Happy Hour Experience - You can opt for the Happy Hour Experience as part of the "YOUR Group" option; however, it must be booked separately. To reserve a Private Happy Hour Event, please fill out the form HERE to request a booking. 

Furthermore, any of our HANDS-ON class experiences are open for selection under the "YOUR Group" option. YOUR CLASS TICKET PURCHASE INCLUDES...

• The materials, tools, and instruction to make ONE glass item per person
• A live glassblowing demonstration from one of our class instructors. 
• A behind-the-scenes tour of our glass studio and Batch Gallery, where you’ll learn more about our successful working art studio and the glass-making process.
• A coupon for 20% off all items in our gallery. This coupon can only be used on the day of your class or the day when you pick up your class product (if you choose to pick up your finished product in-person).

RULES & WHAT TO EXPECT

• You must be at least 16 years old to participate in our classes. However, those under 16 years old are welcome to purchase a guest ticket and watch the class.
• Closed-toed shoes are required and we suggest that you wear cotton, as it will be hot in the shop.
• Please arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork, meet the other students, and browse the gallery.
• Classes are typically 1 to 1.5 hours long. However, the duration may vary depending on the intensity of the project and class size.
• This is an entry-level class. No prior experience is necessary!
• We have a small selection of beverages available for purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink. Please notify us beforehand if you choose to do so.
• Before you can take your beautiful glass creation home, it must cool from 1200°F to room temperature. Once completely cooled, your glass keepsake is ready for pickup from our studio OR we offer free shipping directly to your home if you live in the United States.
