Hello dedicated fans and customers! 2020 brought us challenges, but also many new ideas and opportunities. And so, we’ve adapted and changed the direction of our focus for the studio going forward. As we now cater to a worldwide audience and ship continually over the United States, we’re expanding in new ways and ready to hire!
The Glass Academy is a specialty studio and gallery: the place to get a one-of-a-kind experience, personal gifts or for business, and the perfect event venue for small intimate groups. Our mission is to provide new and exciting, cutting edge glassware products and experiences for our dedicated and growing audience. This includes our live glassblowing shows, onsite classes, demonstrations, and the occasional offsite glassblowing show.
We’re hiring for multiple positions as we expand our team! Are you ready to work with us? Do you love working with a dedicated team that produces unique items and experiences for a growing audience? Each position has unique demands and requires a level of problem-solving skills and abilities dedicated to the task at hand. We’re looking for people that are outgoing and ready to work with customers in a passionate and sincere manner. People who go that extra mile to make it happen and are willing to learn new things along the way to better the process. Someone who is a worker bee, loves to get the job done, and has a sense of accomplishment in doing so.
Currently, we are hiring:
TWO POSITIONS FOR THE GALLERY: includes cashiering, updating the stock levels on the website, placing products in the gallery, and maintaining a clean and organized gallery. This position is 15-22 hours, evenings and weekends required.
ONE POSITION FOR SHIPPING: 10 hours a week, Tuesday and Friday 2-7pm
ONE POSITION FOR OFFICE SUPPORT: includes bookkeeping, data entry, and report generating (5-8 hours per week)
