I was the winner of a hand crafted smoothie glass when my name was choosen at the Veg Fest. Not only did I get to pick out my own glass at the studio but I also get to take it to Red Pepper Deli so they can fill it up with my favorite smoothie. I love your Academy! I experienced the molten glass class, made a flower, and it’s the pride and joy item I show off in my home! I have attended many of your events and think the studio is a ‘must see’ adventure for any out of towner, or locals who weren’t aware of your location.

Those of you who have never been to the Glass Academy in Dearborn do not know what you’re missing. Chris and his staff create the most incredible hand crafted glass works of art that your eyes have ever seen. I addition, he offers many sessions which not only create, but also educate so that you can learn what goes into making beautifully unique pieces. Do yourself a favor and check out their schedule on line, then GO and see for yourself. I promise, you will be amazed!

It was fun to try a brand new experience. Enjoyed the history of glassblowing. Instructor was very skilled at his craft. Background and history regarding the craft was very informative. Hands on instruction was very good with assistance only as needed.

Everything was great. We came in thinking we were making a cherub, which was offered, but were pleasantly suprised when we found out we could make anything we wanted (within design perimeters). We will definitely be watching for e-mails on events to come back.

I just wanted to say that the Hot Glass coffee and dessert evening offered for Henry Ford at the Glass Academy was fantastic. My co-workers and I really had fun and I think I can safely say we will participate again. We’ve proudly spread the word to others in our office. I am very happy that the Glass Academy is located right here in Dearborn. I thought the glassblowing class was very exciting and I look forward to taking another glass making course this summer with CCS, states 11th grader Nada Hmayed.
