Each cast glass heart can sit upright in narrow spaces lie a window sill or book shelf. Or, they can lay flat on a desk, table or night stand to remind us of the love in our lives.
To make the glass hearts, the molten glass is heated to 2400 degrees in a special ceramic pot. Once heated, it can be attached to a long pipe, dipped and swirled in color and then cast into a preheated, hand carved mold of our design.
1-1.5 inches thick, these solid glass hearts can sit upright on a window sill or flat on any surface.
It takes precision, skill and perfect timing to get the proportions just right. Each heart has its own unique color, swirls and designs that will last forever incased in each heart.
Since each one is made my hand no two will ever be alike and that's the beauty of them! Know that the one we pick for you will be just perfect! :)

Being "green" is second nature here at the Glass Academy!
When our excess glass is melted down, all the other color melts out except for blue. Cobalt, the metal that creates the color blue in glass, always remains! The result is this beautiful watery blue color.
