This class experience is the same one that WON us a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ record title in July of 2022.
The Glass Academy is creating the largest display of blown glass objects in the studio gallery.
During this 1.5 hour class experience, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at our glass blowing studio, tour of BATCH gallery, learn how to blow a glass bubble, the same style of bubbles that won us a Guinness World Record! (Time is approximate and depends on how many participants are in the class.)
This is an entry-level class, no experience is necessary. We supply all the tools, glass, and materials. Join us for this fun and entertaining event!
Cost: $35 per ticket
Included: Each ticket holder gets to blow two glass bubbles: one you get to keep as a souvenir, made from a previous day, and the other will go into the gallery for the World Record Sculpture that will eventually becoming part of a permanent display at the Glass Academy. OR if you like, both of your bubbles can be donated to the Michigan Room sculpture!
The glass bubble made will be from our recycled tank which uses the extra scraps we create during our daily production of items for the gallery, creating a soft blue color.

After the ceremony your glass bubbles will become part of a very large, permanent sculpture display here at the Glass Academy in our (soon to be established) event space, the Michigan Room!
