About our Classes:

I am very happy that the Glass Academy is located right here in Dearborn.  I thought the glassblowing class was very exciting and I look forward to taking another glass making course this summer with CCS, states 11th grader Nada Hmayed.

Zeinab Mokdad, a 10th grade student was very excited about the beads she made at the Glass Academy.  She is thinking of incorporating them into a necklace for her Jewelry/Metalsmithing class at Fordson.

I loved it! The Glass Academy staff is awesome and really helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The glassblowing trip was fun because they showed the properties of glass, states New Morning Middle School science student.

The intricate designs that they made, just like shaping clouds in a midnight sky, absolutely blew my mind.  How they could make small glass horses was beautiful.  Glass has 'rockability.'

I just wanted to say that the Hot Glass coffee and dessert evening offered for Henry Ford at the Glass Academy was fantastic.  My co-workers and I really had fun and I think I can safely say we will participate again.  We've proudly spread the word to others in our office.  I have my glass displayed in my office if you want to see if for yourself.   Thank you again for the opportunity.
