Using a classic Italian technique of glassmaking, ribbons of hot glass are pulled quickly, one at a time, to make these free formed hearts that are both graceful and classic.
Working quickly the craftsman must bend, crimp and cut the glass in one move to make the heart successful. While they are quick to make, only skilled craftsmen can make these beautiful hearts.
Because the moves must be so deliberate and fast in the making, each heart has the beauty of the maker embedded in the finished product. Designed by Artist Michelle Plucinsky, you can read more about the process on her personal blog page: www.MichellePlucinsky.com
